Modems

The algorithms of Software-defined Radio (SDR) and Cognitive Radio (CR) involve splitting the communication system into two subsystems: analog circuitry (analog-to-digital conversion, analog filtration, ultra-high frequencies) and digital signal processing (baseband processing). We use either off-the-shelf evaluation boards by Altera, Xilinx, and Lattice or modem boards owned by the customer to immediately prototype the contemporary communication standards.
